πŸ–€Community Covenant

The directions that govern our participation in the ShineDAO community.

Our Standards

Being Brave

ShineDAO ventures to go where no man has gone, to sail uncharted territories, and change the status quo of traditional finance. United, we have the strength to challenge incumbent ideas and structures. We have the willingness to do the things that matter. Even if those things represent a substantial challenge.

Empowering Each Other

We believe in empowering the individual, rewarding initiatives, and encourage self-development as well as experimentation. If you are strongly convinced about something the easiest way to get others on board is to start the first steps yourself. Show up often, prove you can deliver value, and others will follow you!

Collaborative Learning

Building or learning things alone and in isolation is not fun at all. Not only is your impact minuscule, but your learnings are not reaching their fullest potential either. We believe that together we can make things bigger than ourselves and have fun while doing so.

Guiding Principles for Decision Criteria

We don’t believe in hierarchies and giving orders - we believe in a shared vision and a structure that rewards the individual's contributions. We expect you to create your own individual initiatives with different beneficial actions that will benefit our whole DAO collective, and we reward you for that. ShineDAO recognizes the genius, creativity, and energy of every individual DAO member, and wishes to utilize it as empowerment through the clarity of these foundational pillars. We envision a system where people can take initiative, create, collaborate and contribute, and get rewarded for it.

Unacceptable Behaviour

  • Self-destructive behavior

  • Violence and threats

  • Hateful conduct and harassment

  • Unauthorised sharing of private information

  • Impersonation

  • Spam, scams, and other malicious conduct

  • Nudity, pornography, and other sexual content

  • Extreme violence, gore, and other obscene conduct

  • Intellectual property rights

Enforcement

When we receive reports of inappropriate content, we take action against accounts that we believe have broken our rules. When we investigate complaints of violations, we examine a variety of criteria, including the intent and context of the violation, as well as the potential for or actual harm to the community.

A warning, a temporary suspension, or, in the case of more serious violations, a permanent suspension may be imposed in response to a specific violation. This may result in the loss of rights such as the ability to support our projects or earn token rewards.
